Umut Sanat's latest project is the establishment of film studios at a near by location to Istanbul. The total area is 150.000 square meters ( 37 acres) and will be the largest studios of Turkey. The area is composed of 33.000 square meters (8 acres) of indoor area (including 11 studios, laboratories, restaurants, post-production and accommodation facilities) and backlots. Besides being very close to the heart of industry: Istanbul; this location is also close to the natural plateau facilities such as mountains, deserted areas, sea etc.
This project aims to attract international production and co-productions to Turkey. In addition, it will bring employment as well as improvement in the business and cultural life of the locale. Another aim within the project is to establish a school where technical staff can be educated.
